TITANIC
BELFAST, NORTHERN IRELAND
Birthplace of the Titanic and home of the Harlan and Wolff Shipyard.
SOUTHAMPTON, ENGLAND
Where most of the Titanic passengers began their journey.

CHERBOURG, FRANCE
In 1907, Cherbourg did not have the facilities to allow large steamers in their docks. Ships would have to be anchored out in the water and smaller boats, called tenders, would have to travel to the larger ships, collect people and supplies, and bring them to the docks. White Star Line, the company that owned the Titanic had two tenders docked at Cherbourg ready to service their larger ships.
On April 10, 1912, the TItanic anchored in Cherbourg. A few passengers disembarked while several others boarded. A new load of mail was also loaded on to the ship. It remained in the city for only an hour and a half before heading off to its last stop.

QUEENSTOWN, IRELAND
Queenstown, now called Cobh, is located on Great Island within Cork Harbor. It is a beautiful seaside town filled with history. Queenstown was the departure point for a large number of Irish immigrants who left Ireland during the famine in search of a better life. It was the last Port of Call for the Titanic.
